Friday the 23rd was BK's birthday, not the official date, but he hosted a night at his family's restaurant for a birthday dinner and it was good timing as well, just when I came back from work and I gotta say the food was pretty nice. What was also nice was again, catching up with school friends and having fun (thats what life is about!!!) not literally, but yeh..... =D
On the up side of that night as well, I've made two new friends from Canley Vale, and they are very nice people I gotta say :) The night then kinda got "splitted" with most of the guys going to Star City and some wanting to go home, but thanks to Felix, was able to get more out of my Friday night by going to his house to play mahjong with Kevin Ngo and Teresa and it was tense!!! =D
Saturday turned out to be a normal day as well. And so I decided to go give the "Killa" Burger a go at Carramar, and it turns out the Killa Burger is a killer, like I swear, sharing half with my mate, I literally felt like 10 kilos fatter than before. I was soo stuffed I felt like walking home to burn of the fat instead of taking the car home (though I didn't drive). All of a sudden, he took me to Dan Murphy's at Casula to get some alchie for his mates. And when I went to the wine section, I kinda felt like I fell in love with that section. There is sooo many types and varieties of wine (like there is to aircafts =D ) that I just wanna learn them all and get to know all the differences and similarities when it comes to quality and taste. It is such an interesting field thats for sure!!
Spent my night watching the Australian Wallabies smashing the South African Springboks in the Rugby Union Tri-Nations =D
By the way......when was the last time you swung a golf club?
It's been ages that I've last swung a golf club, back at shark golf for rec sport, and here I was, at Shark Golf with my business mates on a social day out, 7 of us (Me, Long, David, Kenny, Arvin, Anthony and Sunny). All ended up buying two buckets each because we knew it wasn't gonna last us, but then it turned out to be a painful mistake for some of them because they started getting blisters after all that swinging. But then at least I was consistent, thats the most important thing in gold =D The night ended with Counter Strike, 5 players LAN-ing and killing each other and god I was soo rusty I died the most but ironically, I killed the most as well =D though we did go through some technical issues in getting all the CS to work
Then CAME TODAY!!! The start of a new working week!! The last week of the new financial year month of JULY. I god time FLIES BY SOO FAST (but as I said before, time flies when YOU'RE HAVING FUN!!) And this morning at Cabra Station, I saw Phillip as usual (as he has his Monday morning class at 8:30am) but then surprisingly, I saw a very close friend of mine [well she saw me first and she shouted out my name] who I haven't seen since she left Cabra West PS at year 5 and it was such a great feeling catching up with her and having a quiet convo in the train. Her name is Tiffany btw :) Gotta love catching up with primary friends who I haven't seen in ages!!
And then my day continued as usual.....work at the airport (after going our own ways, Phillip and Tiffany going to uni after getting of at Central whereas I had to catch my connecting train to the International Terminal)
This is by far the longest post I've ever put up, and probably longer than one of my essays I wrote for my HSC (not) =P
But in the mean time.......Have a nice week and a great ending to the month of July as August is just looming around the corner....... :)
