On the other hand, September 11 was one of the dates which hosted Animania at the Australian Technology Park, Redfern.
This was also my first time going to an event like this, and I expected it to be big. I caught up with Mary, Gerry and Carissa to catch the train there to Redfern to meet up with guys from Pats.
But once I got it....it wasnt as big as I expected. But who cares.....i dont mind popping back next year, and also cosplaying as well....so I got a year to think about it =D
Eventually caught up with the Pats guys IE Felix, Kevin, Simon (left early but), Jordan, Wilson, Floyd and Kandy, but also met new people as well IE Thi, Anthony and Michael.
I gotta say it was very fun though seeing all these other people dressed up as different anime characters and taking photos with well dressed cosplayers (if thats a word) =P Had a really great time catching up with friends as well after such a long while and that I dont go uni which means I dont see any of them too oftenly.
In the end.....all I pretty much did was take was walked around, watched some wannabe performers act our their character, and most of all.....take lots of pictures :)
Too bad I didnt buy anything though.....didnt know what I wanted really :(\
The day pretty much ended by having dinner in the city with Carissa, Gerry and Mary and omg.........that was like the only food I had all day. Then Carissa suggested Gelato!! And BOOM!!! That was my dessert instead of more maccas as I was soo close to getting a small maccas meal since Pepper Lunch didnt fill me up :L
